I have launched this website
to keep friends, colleagues and potential business associates up to date on my activities.
I have been a journalist for many years -- United Press International, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Knowledge@Wharton, and others -- specializing in business and financial writing, as well as outdoors journalism. I now devote most of my time to writing fiction.
I also served, from 2010 to 2013, as editor of The Slate Drake, a newsletter published by Slate Run Sportsmen, a fly-fishing club based in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.The organization is dedicated to protecting Slate Run, a renowned freestone trout stream, and ensuring that Slate Run retains the fly-fishing-only designation given to it by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.
